Clayton County Destination Video Series
Hello!
Thanks for taking a look at our proposal positioning Clayton County as a destination open to the world. What you will see on this page are examples of previous work that we think aligns with the goals set on the RFP as well as some insight into who we are as a production company and our process.
The button below will download a more comprehensive pdf proposal for this project. This is the same pdf attached to the email upon submission.

About us
Electric Creative is a content production agency with a focus on strategic storytelling. We are a small business led by friends Chris and Marybeth.
Chris comes from a background in live experiences with juggling in front of large audiences and on live TV . This expertise gives our clients a birds-eye view into human design and strategy to connect well with audiences.
Marybeth comes from a production background coordinating large budgets, schedules, and crews in local SuperBowl ads. This experience gives our clients in-depth planning and foresight from pre-production through post-production.
Both Chris and Marybeth love capturing images, moving or still, that tell a story, highlight the subject, and compel an audience.
Creative Approach
Bringing "Open to the World" to Life
Clayton County isn't just a place to visit, it's a destination to experience, learn, and adventure into what life can look like beyond southern hospitality and a glimpse into how we're all connected to one another.
We're not showcasing a list of things to do. We're building the case for why someone extends a weekend stop into a three-day stay. Where every visitor can experience the story firsthand and become a part of the narrative.
Connecting the Six Storytelling Themes
Rather than treating Faces & Stories, Open Doors/Open Destinations, Open to Adventure, Open Table, Open Trails, and Open to Celebration as six separate chapters, we connect them through a relay structure: the people we interview don't just talk about their own corner of the county. Their stories reveal how every other part of Clayton County connects to make the community what it is.
In pre-production, we ask the questions that surface the thread already woven naturally through the community. This thread is the connection that quietly draws people here in the first place. That might be a chef who sources local ingredients the way their mother taught them, or a muralist painting the county's walls to show a vibrancy that exists beyond any single business's front door. Rather than stitching together six disconnected segments, finding that thread is what lets us express the heart and soul of Clayton County on screen.
Highlighting real residents, artists, historians, and chefs giving the video a natural momentum that mirrors how a first-time visitor would actually discover the county: through the people who live there.
Production Approach
Pre- Production
Our pre-production process starts with a lot of questions to understand the core goals of stakeholders, audience, and from whom the stories will be told. From there drafts of interview questions, scheduling, crewing, and ensuring all gaps are filled before production starts.
Interview Method
We understand real people are not actors who are used to being on camera. Our interview approach is to make sure each guest is comfortable to the point of even forgetting the about the camera entirely. This method ensures we get thorough responses and raw thoughts while coaching each interview into completion.
Production
The unseen production elements are what will bring these raw moments to life. Smooth audio from boomed and lapel mics, cinematography that notices the little details that make magical moments, and drone shots that encapsulate the entire environment.
Post-Production
With the outline created in pre-production as the guide our post-production process finds the hidden, authentic moments captured and weaves them into the narrative. We use an online revision platform to ensure the goals of stakeholders are all met within the edit throughout the entire process.
